Last weekend I had the opportunity to get creative with real estate!
The real estate agent and I had one goal with this video: to showcase this beautiful home through the eyes of the homeowner and guests. A lifestyle video of sorts. We wanted to focus less on the home details and more on the feeling one would get while being in this home. Which was perfect, because evoking emotion through film is what I love to do the most! The real estate agent who hired me for this project, Kyla Mulder, gave me complete artistic control which was a total blast!

I chose to mix a series of glide cam, aerial, tripod and hand-held shots, along with slow motion (at 96 fps) which created a much more organic and natural feel, as opposed to a traditional real estate videos that consist of a continuous serious of slow and stable gimbal shots. The entire video was shot on my Panasonic GH4 in v-log, and this film was colour-graded in Davinci Reslove 12.5, using Film Convert. As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, I’m OBSESSED with Film Convert, it’s grading abilities are unreal!
This stunning home sits at 1457 Copper Mountain Court, resting in the Foothills of Vernon BC. As you make your way up to silver star, you can see this home on a corner lot overlooking the city. Simply breathtaking.
